Virgin River star Zibby Allen has taken to social media to share her excitement over her co-star Martin Henderson’s new role on the hit Netflix series

Virgin River actor Martin Henderson, known for his character as former US Marine Jack Sheridan, is taking on a thrilling new role in the production of the popular Netflix show.

His co-star and on-screen sister, Zibby Allen, who plays Brie Sheridan, has warmly celebrated his achievements.

Both actors have become much loved by fans since debuting their roles; Martin since the beginning of the series and Zibby introduced in the third season as Jack’s sibling, Brie Sheridan.

As fans eagerly expect the sixth instalment of the drama to drop in 2025, Henderson won’t just be delighting audiences on-screen as his talents will extend behind the scenes this time around.

Earlier this year, he revealed he’s taken up the director’s chair for an episode of Virgin River for the first time, sparking evident excitement from his fellow performer, Zibby.

She recently shared a charming Instagram snapshot with Martin and their colleague Marco Grazzini, who plays police detective Mike Valenzuela, praising her TV brother’s direction prowess.

“You won’t be surprised to know that my bro from a tv mo, @martinhendersonofficial also absolutely shines as a director,” Zibby praised in the caption.

She added: “Can’t wait for you to see his episode in #VirginRiverSeason6.”

Martin initially announced his directorial debut in April, sharing a photo of himself alongside film equipment and clapper board on the official Virgin River Instagram handle.

Fans are over the moon after learning he’s stepping up this season, flooding Zibby’s post with their enthusiasm.
