On Instagram, she stirred up excitement with hints about what lies ahead for Mel and Jack Sheridan (played by Martin Henderson), reports the Express.
The star led with a juicy teaser for fans, saying: “There’s a lot of information that’s about to come out about season six of Virgin River.”
Without spilling too much, she prepped her audience: “I’m not going to spoil it for you but I’m just going to let you know that some info is going to start seeping its way out to you soon.”
Given that the close of 2024 isn’t too far off, this tip-off suggests an impending announcement perfectly timed for a festive binge-watching spree.

The actress from the hit series Virgin River, Alexandra Breckenridge, recently stirred up some controversy with her candid advice to co-star Zibby Allen regarding her character Brie Sheridan’s tumultuous relationship with Dan Brady (Ben Hollingsworth). On their podcast I Like You Very Much, she remarked: “If I could give advice to Brie, or if she could give advice to Mel, what would it be? And I said, ‘Don’t get back together with Brady!’”
Her comments didn’t sit well with some fans of the show, prompting Alexandra to address the backlash on social media. She expressed her confusion over the continued upset, stating: “I’ve already said this, so I don’t why people are still having a cow about it.”
She further explained her stance, saying: “But if you were just in the Virgin River world, and you didn’t know about anything else and you weren’t outside watching it as a TV show, you would give her the same advice.”
Alexandra urged fans to consider the context in which she gave her opinion: “So can we just start from that perspective? Because that was the perspective I was given when I was asked the question.
“Now there’s a whole hullabaloo about it. I mean, everybody calm down. It’s just a TV show. It’s not real life.”
