Virgin River Season 6: Check out latest updates about cast, filming and release date

Virgin River’s sixth season will feature new faces along with returning cast members. The Netflix series is set to showcase a big wedding towards the end of the season.

New Cast Members
A leaked behind-the-scenes photo revealed four new cast members for the upcoming season. The picture, quickly deleted, was posted by one of the new actors but spread rapidly among fans. The new cast members include Gigi Neil, Erin Kathleen Boyes, Rachel Drance, and Ese Atawo, as per reports. Dexerto and The Viewer’s Perspective had first shared the news.

Stricter Leak ControlsNetflix has tightened its control over behind-the-scenes leaks for this season. Fewer photos have been released by the cast and crew, with most official updates coming through Netflix TUDUM and social media channels. Earlier releases confirmed that Martin Henderson would be directing this season.

Familiar characters will also return for the big wedding in season 6. This includes Jenny Cooper, Dan Payne, Garfield Wilson, Eric Brecker and Andrew Zachar.

Filming and Release Date
Season 6 is currently filming and will continue until the end of May 2024. Post-production will follow throughout the rest of the year. The new season is expected to premiere in 2025.

Fans can look forward to “Netflix Stories: Virgin River,” set to arrive at the end of May 2024. There is also anticipation for a new spin-off series announced earlier this year.
