She has been engulfed in stress in between legal threats by Rowan Cunliffe (Emrhys Cooper) and his Altovalent Institute.

Toyah (Georgia Taylor) has also been hiding her affair with Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) from the back of her sister Leanne (Jane Danson).

This was after she was arrested over the murder of a baby that she had when she was just 19-years-old.

At the time she was raped and after her child was still-born, she buried the body on the red rec.

But things are going to get far worse for Toyah on Coronation Street and those around her when Leanne tries to expand the Institute close to home.

The younger Battersby sister will be shocked after she finds her sister showing an unsuspecting Amy Barlow a video made by the cult.

She only wanted to help the adolescent to relieve her stress but she later realises that she is considering of investing money into her beloved Institute.

This is of course after Leanne changed the supplier of produce for the Bistro to one approved by the institute much to the ire of Nick.

Elsewhere Toyah will then complain to him that she feels intense pains in her stomach.

He will be left absolutely horrified when he returns back to the flat to find Toyah in utter agony.

She will be stuck lying on the floor in dire pain as a worried Nick seeks medical attention for her.

Leanne waits at her sisters bedside after Nick rushed his potential sister-in-law to the hospital.

However when the doctor arrives with the prognosis, he delivers a piece of shocking news.

She is still shocked and does not know how to handle the doctor’s news.

This is when he drops yet another piece of unexpected bombshell news.
