This Morning’s Rochelle Humes red-faced as she admits ‘fancying’ EastEnders villain

This Morning presenter Rochelle Humes was left red-faced as she admitted to fancying an EastEnders villain

This Morning star Rochelle Humes couldnt help but swoon over an Albert Square hunk during Wednesday’s show, leaving her a tad embarrassed.

Chatting with EastEnders actor Shiv Jalota, plays Vinny Panesar, the ITV host confessed she has quite the soft spot for one particular character in the soap.

Dermot O’Leary, drew parallels between Vinny’s family drama and another popular series as he joked: “Oh yeah Succession comes to Albert Square! Why is it always the old businessmen that drink shots and are in shorts in the pub as well?.”

Rochelle didn’t hold back, chiming in: “Very handsome though Nish. Nish is very handsome.” Her unexpected gush took Dermot aback but didn’t stop him from agreeing and playfully dubbing Nish as a “silver fox”.

Soap expert Sharon Marshall appeared less than thrilled by Rochelle’s confession as she pointed out: “He’s a bad boy!”

Although Rochelle wasnt deterred by Nish’s shady alter ego, retorting with a smile, “It’s the eyes though Sharon!”, reports the Mirror.

As the EastEnders plot thickens, viewers have seen Vinny pull some strings in order to try and control his father, Nish.

Wanting to seize the family business with the help of Suki Panesar (played by Balvinder Sopal), the duo are set on revenge.

Speaking about the plot to the This Morning duo, Shiv Jalota teased there’s a tense battle for power simmering within the Panesar clan.

He commented: “Vinny, at this point, is fighting for his empire with his mum to get it back from his villainous dad and to gain reins of the empire and lead the family on, beyond Nish.”

Pondering whether Vinny is a hero or has been tainted, the actor humorously suggested he is a Panesar, suggesting at a potential character twist.

Shiv went on to say: “He’s so beautiful to play that he’s becoming the man that he never intended to be but in order to be a Panesar, you’ve got to make some decisions that are ruthless.”

At present, Rochelle has been seen by This Morning viewers co-hosting the ITV programme with Dermot while regular hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard enjoy their summer break.

In the coming weeks, ITV will rotate a series of familiar faces to host the show until September when the usual presenters return.
