The Six’s fate confirmed, court showdown and birthday heartbreak

The Six face the music over Keanu Taylor’s cold-blooded death in upcoming EastEnders scenes as Dean Wicks finally faces trial for the mechanic’s murder – but does it all go to plan?

EastEnders is set to air the big moment viewers have been waiting for – Keanu Taylor’s murder trial.

But before The Six even make it to court, Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris) will be looking for her answers before accused murderer Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) takes the stand. The dramatic week kicks off with Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) protesting her innocence to Bernie stating she didn’t kill Keanu (Danny Walters) at Christmas.

Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) shows up to support her best mate Sharon but Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) soon interrupts as Albie sets off for his first day at school. Anxious Sharon is upset to be missing her son’s big day and starts to worry about the trial sparking fear in Linda. Luckily Phil is on hand to set them both straight.

Sharon wants to show Linda some support and asks Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) and Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) to check in on Linda before she testifies against Dean.

But as the trial gets underway, Sharon baulks under her cross-examination from Dean’s lawyer when he starts digging up information from her past.

The situation soon escalates which could impact The Six. But it all gets too much for Linda who ducks out of the courtroom before giving her witness statement leaving Sharon horrified.

The Six anxiously await an update following previous events as Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) and Phil join forces to track down Linda’s whereabouts.

But later in the week, in scenes to be aired on Wednesday (September 4), The Six reel as the latest update in Dean’s trial has huge repercussions for the group, as it’s clear their ordeal is far from over.

Under immense pressure, a member of the group makes a decision they may live to regret, and by the end of the week, The Six continue to fight for their freedom.

Meanwhile, Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) tries to put Dean’s trial out of her mind to make an effort for Charli’s first birthday, but she burns the cake.

The tot’s celebrations also sees Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) kick off at girlfriend Suki after she bows out of the party, but she has bigger issues to deal with.

As the Slaters gather for Charli’s karaoke party, it’s not long before it all goes pear-shaped when Stacey is forced to leave her granddaughter’s special event.
