The Rookie Bloodbath: Season 6 Finale Could Dig Multiple Characters’ Graves

Fans might need to brace themselves for the Season 6 finale of The Rookie, as the promo suggests that not everyone will make it out of the high-stakes episode alive. Who dies in The Rookie Season 6 finale? Keep reading to find out.

Who dies in The Rookie Season 6 finale?
In the promo for the epic season finale, titled “Escape Plan,” nearly every member of the squad appears to be in danger. The clip shows Alyssa Diaz (Angela Lopez) being approached by several gang members, Lucy Chen (Melissa O’Neil) jumping into the bed of a moving truck, Aaron Thorsen (Tru Valentino) engaging in a shoot-out in a laundromat and John Nolan (Nathan Fillion) purposely crashing the armored truck he and Nyla Harper (Mekia Cox) are driving in. As all of this action plays out, a narrator says: “Who will get out alive?”

With the entire Mid-Wilshire Division under duress, it’s hard to tell who might get killed, but our bet is on Season 6 newcomer Dr. Blair London (Danielle Campbell), who came on board at the beginning of the season as the LAPD’s new therapist. In Episode 8, fans learned that London is in cahoots with this season’s villain, Monica Stevens (Bridget Regan). At the end of the episode, it was confirmed that the psychologist is the mole within the LAPD and had leaked information about a raid Tim Bradford (Eric Winter)’s old team was about to conduct, leading to several police offers getting injured in an explosion.

Although London is guilty of recording her therapy sessions with Thorsen and Bradford without their consent, it is unclear what her motives are and fans suspect that she may just be a pawn in Monica’s game or is being blackmailed.

That theory was seemingly proven in the season finale promo. In one scene, Nolan urges London to “still make this right” over the phone. As London drives away in her car, she insists: “It’s too dangerous, she has spies everywhere.” The clip then cuts to a man watching London from a distance as she gets into her vehicle.

The promo implies that London may actually be a good person, but has gotten herself stuck in a bad situation with Monica. It also hints that she is being spied on and might end up as collateral damage in Monica’s larger scheme. Perhaps the man spying on her will run her off the road or hit her car and kill her.

The official synopsis for the episode reads: “Sgt. Grey helps the team prepare for their biggest mission yet; Aaron, Lopez, Celina, Tim and Smitty discover a surprising connection in their case.” We’re not entirely sure what the mission in question is, but it most likely has to do with Monica.

Monica was first introduced in Season 5 as the defense attorney for Elijah Stone (Brandon Jay McLaren), the main antagonist of Season 4 and 5. Stone was a gang leader and had roped Wesley Evers (Shawn Ashmore) into serving as his dirty lawyer. When Monica began representing him, she took over the role and happily did all of his bidding. Although Stone was eventually incarcerated, it’s possible that Monica is still doing his dirty work. Either way, she’s clearly corrupt and is going to cause some serious trouble for the Mid-Wilshire Division in the season finale. Viewers will just have to tune in to see who survives, though the odds for London are looking slim.
