Killer seals the fate of six EastEnders legends as she flees Dean’s trial

Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) looks set to blow The Six’s chances of freedom in EastEnders next week, as the events of Dean Wicks’ (Matt Di Angelo) trial take a troubling turn.

As we know, she’s been crumbling under the pressure of framing her rapist for the murder of Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) for months.

Feeling there was nowhere left to turn, Linda, alongside the rest of her killer accomplices, forged a plan to plant the meat thermometer that she drove through Keanu’s back in Dean’s flat.

Building up the courage to report him, she headed to the police station and admitted that she hadn’t spoken up earlier about his ‘involvement’ because of her lack of faith in the justice system following her sexual assault.

Authorities took her claims seriously, and later found the weapon amongst Dean’s belongings after Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) hid it amongst them.

In recent weeks, Keanu’s sister Bernie (Clair Norris) has begun to realise that things aren’t entirely adding up, and visited Dean in prison to craft a plot to bring Linda down – and began sending blackmail letters to bring her down.

The move caused her to hit the bottle, and Bernie to turn her attentions to Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) instead.

In upcoming scenes, the two women are terrified by the prospect of Dean evading justice and them becoming estranged by their young children.

Sharon is dealt a horrifying reminder of what she has to lose when her ex Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) shows up to take their son Albie to school.

As she heads to court, she asks Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) and Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) to ensure Linda is okay ahead of testifying.

Things soon take a troubling turn when Dean’s solicitor cross-examines Sharon and digs up information from her past. It all becomes too much for Linda, and having witnessed the events, she quickly flees the court.

Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) and Phil frantically search for her, as the rest of the women await an update.

Later, after the pressure mounts, one member of the group makes an enormous decision that they may live to regret…
