Virgin River is returning for season five but fans are keen to know what actor Martin Henderson’s relationship status is.
The Netflix drama is back for another outing with Jack Sheridan (played by Martin Henderson) and Mel Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge) more loved-up than ever.
With the pair now engaged and a baby on the way, it seems everything is going rosy for the couple but, given this is Virgin River, there are bound to be more hurdles on the way.
Does Virgin River actor Martin Henderson have a girlfriend?
While the 48-year-old actor has never been married, it is believed that he is dating a New Zealand-based interior designer called Penny.
It isn’t known how long they have been together but there have been reports that the pair have been together since last year and are now living together on Great Barrier Island.
Penny is thought to have children as well with Henderson briefly mentioning them in some of his Instagram posts.
While on a road trip in California, he wrote how the campervan he used “made traveling with kids so much easier and fun”.
Henderson doesn’t have any children of his own but does have a puppy called Sammy who he regularly posts pictures of on Instagram.
The former romantic Grey’s Anatomy star does have links to other celebrities as well.
He was dating Mexican model Aisha Mendez, having started a relationship in early 2020.
They went on to quarantine together in a New Zealand hotel during the coronavirus pandemic but their romance ended in January 2021.
He was also in a relationship with producer and director Helen Randag in 2012 and was linked to actress Demi Moore after her divorce from Ashton Kutcher.
Henderson famously shared a kiss with singer Britney Spears in her Toxic music video but they didn’t pursue a romance.
As well as starring in romantic drama Virgin River, fans will know Henderson as Dr Nathan Riggs in Grey’s Anatomy.
For two years, he was the love interest of Dr Meredith Gray (played by Ellen Pompeo) until Megan Hunt (Abigail Spencer) arrived after going missing for several years.
