Coronation Street’s Beth Tinker could find her criminal business secret exposed on Friday night.

Soap fans will recall that Beth has been using the equipment at Underworld as part of her dodgy side hustle to sew logos onto counterfeit T-shirts. In recent scenes, Beth was rumbled by DS Lisa Swain’s daughter Betsy, who has been working at the factory on work experience.

This has forced Beth to let Betsy join in on her side hustle for a cut of the profits in order to keep her secret safe. Earlier this week, Beth handed over a handful of cash to her police officer son Craig Tinker asking him to keep it safe.

Beth revealed she was planning on throwing a wedding for partner Kirk Sutherland and wanted it to be kept top secret. Craig was suspicious but decided to go along with his mother’s plan.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Kirk’s sister Maria Connor got wind of Beth’s plan to surprise Kirk with a wedding. After flicking through a wedding magazine, Beth was left disheartened to see the price of weddings to which Betsy suggested they needed to do more counterfeit T-shirts.

Later, Beth informed Betsy that she had secured them a huge T-shirt order and invited Izzy Armstrong to join their operation as the trio worked hard to sort out the counterfeit goods.
