Meanwhile, Xander’s Aunt Maisie provides some unexpected insights. On Wednesday, June 26th, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) discussed his complicated relationship with Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) with Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). During the baby swap drama, Xander felt closer to Victor but ultimately believed he was being used for dirty work. Despite Sarah’s arguments that Victor deeply loved Xander, the lack of acknowledgment in Victor’s will left Xander feeling conflicted.
As Sarah prepared to send out wedding invitations, she asked Xander if he was sure he didn’t want to continue searching for his mother. Xander proposed another strategy to find answers from Fiona Cook (Serena Scott Thomas). Aunt Maisie revealed that Fiona had contacted her for money months ago, and although she didn’t have a phone number, she did have an address.
At the Kiriakis house, Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) discovered that Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) had proposed to Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) and expressed her concerns to Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth). Theresa overheard Bonnie’s harsh comments about Alex, leading to tension. Alex confided in Theresa but questioned her odd reaction when Bonnie mentioned inviting Xander’s mother to the wedding. Theresa dismissed the idea of inviting random individuals, but Bonnie noted that Sarah had an address for Xander’s mother, making Theresa uneasy.
In another subplot, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) searched for information about Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) feelings for Theresa. At the hospital, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) took Chanel to the hospital, where an exam revealed she had miscarried. Devastated, Chanel blamed Paulina for the tragedy.
