Today on Days of Our Lives, Jennifer rushes home to reunite with her daughter, who settles into the mansion, Gabi draws Kristen into her revenge plan, and Melinda fires Connie.

As Gabi works at DiMera, she slams her photo of Stefan down on the desk. She answers a call to Connie who feigns being sick. Gabi tells her to stay home and take care of herself. Connie thanks her and asks when she’ll put her revenge plan for Stefan and Ava into action. Gabi needs absolute proof first. When Kristen comes to her office, Gabi slyly tells Connie she knows just how to get it.

After hanging up, Connie tells Cardboard Li she’s playing hooky to spend the day with him.

Melinda meets with Ava in the Square to tell her everything on Connie’s resume is a lie. Ava downplays it, but Melinda knows someone who worked with her at Saxton’s. She was such a nightmare they agreed to give her a favorable reference just so she would go away. Connie needs to be terminated immediately. She’ll fire her while Ava relays the news to Gabi.

At the Horton house, Jack tells Julie that Abigail is alive.

Abigail comes to the DiMera living room wearing a silk robe. Chad brings in a tray of food, followed by Stefan who quips about his brother having a sleep over. He wonders if Chad is going to introduce them. “You’ve met,” Chad flatly says. “This is Abby.” She awkwardly waves. They explain to a stunned Stefan that she’s had plastic surgery and has amnesia. Abigail asks if they were close. Stefan says they had a complicated relationship. “That would be an understatement,” Chad says.

In the DiMera office, Kristen pointedly straightens Gabi and Stefan’s photo while talking about work/life balance. She then mentions that Sarah was hit by someone driving a grey car. Gabi says Ava drives a grey car, but it couldn’t have been her because “she was too busy sleeping with my husband.” Kristen suggests her imagination is running wild, but Gabi knows she knows. Gabi threatens to take Gabi Chic to DiMera’s biggest competitor if Kristen doesn’t confirm her suspicions. With a withering tone, Kristen confirms that Ava and Stefan slept together.

In her apartment, Connie ignores a call from Melinda and then assures Cardboard Li that they will all get what’s coming to them. Later, she plays charades with “Li” as Melinda knocks on the door.

When Abigail goes to take a shower at the DiMera mansion, Stefan tries to process her being alive. He quips that if she needs help coming back from the dead, Chad can send her to him. He then thanks Chad, “for not…” “Telling her you raped her?” Chad angrily finishes for him. He didn’t tell her because it’d be too traumatic right now. Stefan suggests he fill her in on some things because being back there might trigger memories she’s not prepared for.

Overcome with emotion at the Horton House, Julie tells Jack they need to tell the kids. And what about Jennifer? Jennifer (played by Cady McClain) races in. “I need to see my daughter — right now!” Jack explains Abigail is fragile and they shouldn’t push this. Jennifer insists.

At the mansion, Stefan urges Chad to share the bad things that happened to Abigail. Chad grows frustrated. He’s doing his best to manage everyone’s needs. He leaves to take Jack’s call.

Upstairs, Abigail cautiously enters a bedroom and picks up a photo of Chad and Abigail (Marci Miller). She looks around the room and sits on the bed. Chad finds her, wondering what she’s doing there. She explains something drew her there. He says it was their room, but it’s also where she was stabbed. Cringing, she rises from the bed and asks who did it. He tells her it was Clyde. She doesn’t understand why the man who stabbed her would then take care of her after her accident. Chad calls Clyde a sick twisted sociopath. On a more positive note, Jack called because her mother, Jennifer, wants to see her. Abigail is
