A source revealed that the 54-year-old star kicked a screenwriter and this was not the first violent act of Thomas Gibson on set. Previously, the actor had a fight with a film producer and Thomas even had to register for a class to control his behavior when angry.

Initially, CBS only planned to suspend Thomas Gibson and temporarily remove his character from the show “Criminal Minds” for two episodes. However, the production team of “Criminal Minds” eventually decided to remove Thomas from the show altogether.

“Thomas Gibson has been fired from Criminal Minds. Creative details about his departure from the show will be announced at a later date,” ABC Studios and CBS Studios said in a joint statement.

Since 2005, Thomas Gibson has participated in 11 films of “Criminal Minds”. The news that this actor was “erased” from the famous series is really shocking news for loyal audiences. Thomas himself also expressed his disappointment when he said: “I love “Criminal Minds” and have put my heart and soul into it for the past 12 years. I had hoped to be able to go with it until the end, but this is now impossible”.
