Explosive new scenes reveal massive Lucy Beale twist as graveside fight erupts 10 years on from gripping whodunnit

Tensions are set to run high on EastEnders as a fight erupts when Bobby Beale pays a trip to his stepsister Lucy’s grave.

More than a decade ago, Bobby (Clay Milner Russell) attacked Lucy with a jewellery box as part of the Who Killed Lucy Beale? storyline.

Jane Beale (Laurie Brett) attempted to cover for him but he ended up going to prison.

Now, in scenes coming up on the show, he is seen laying flowers at his stepsister’s graveside.

A soap insider told The Sun: ‘It’s clear that hidden tensions are set to be uncovered in a fight between Cindy and Bobby.

‘And though Ian and Cindy leave the incident together, it could spell trouble between them – as well as for Cindy’s daughter Anna, and the wider Beale family.

‘It’s the perfect storyline to be revisiting as the soap gears up for its 40th anniversary celebrations next year.’

But Bobby is soon seen by his dad Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) and his wife Cindy (Michelle Collins), where a massive argument explodes.

Bobby ends up yelling at his stepmum, who eventually tackles him and he his pushed back into a headstone.

At one point Bobby cowers in fear as Cindy – who made a comeback from the dead last year – offers him some cross words.

Soap legend Ian looks totally helpless in the background as the outburst ensues.

In the end, Bobby falls to his knees over the grave and looks anguished after the fierce confrontation.

To add to the drama, Bobby is in the early stages of a relationship with Cindy’s daughter (Molly Rainford) but it is not yet clear how or if the graveside bust-up will alter things.

Actress Hetti Bywater had played the role for two years when the character was jkilled off, and later admitted she was ‘glad’ that there was no way back for Lucy.

She wrote on Instagram: ‘Seeing as you kindly comment on many of my stories I will now take the time to respond to each one.

‘Firstly, this “posh white” girl is allowed to talk in whatever way she pleases. As much as I’m very found of the English language, I’m free to use words as I see fit. (sic)’

But she agreed with one comment, writing: ‘I’m glad Bobby killed Lucy too, I hated her.’
