In today’s gripping episode, Eric stops by the hospital to visit Marina, his mother, and confides that EJ

is representing him in his divorce from Sloan. Marina expresses concern about Eric working with EJ, who is raising Jude, but Eric reassures her that he harbors no ill feelings. When Marina questions the wisdom of Eric working closely with Nicole at the newspaper, given their tumultuous history, Eric insists that there are no lingering feelings between them. Despite Marina’s probing, Eric changes the subject and agrees to join her for dinner, with a promise not to discuss Nicole.

At the hospital, Nicole is relieved after Dr. Mark Green sees Jude on short notice. They discuss their children, and Nicole reveals that Holly had to cancel her prom plans, much to Mark’s sympathy. He mentions his brother Aaron was Holly’s date, who now has no one to go with. This prompts Nicole to concoct a plan to help both Aaron and Holly.

Meanwhile, at the DiMera mansion, EJ confesses to Stefan about his maneuvering to get reinstated as Salem’s District Attorney. Stefan, however, threatens to reveal a bombshell: that Eric Brady is Nicole’s baby’s father, unless EJ gets Gabi’s conviction overturned immediately. As their confrontation intensifies, Holly walks in, overhearing part of their heated exchange. She dismisses their secrets and vents her frustration about being grounded and missing prom. Nicole then arrives, announcing she has changed her mind and Holly can go to the prom, much to Holly’s surprise and concealed delight.

In another part of Salem, Brady visits the Kiriakis mansion where Teresa confesses that her relationship with Alex is a sham; she’s still in love with Brady. Although this revelation is part of a dream, it underscores Teresa’s inner turmoil. Brady arrives in response to a message from Teresa about keeping their son Tate away from Holly, but Teresa worries that Holly’s recent grounding won’t hold.

Tate and Aaron meet at the Brady Pub, discussing their prom plans. Unbeknownst to them, Sophia overhears Tate admitting he only asked her to the prom because Holly was grounded. As the scene unfolds, Aaron receives a call from Nicole, who passes the phone to Holly, inviting Aaron to the prom. Aaron accepts, but Sophia, hiding her anger, vows to make the prom memorable.

Holly updates Tate on her mother’s change of heart, and they resolve to stick to their original plan of sneaking out together. As Tate reassures Holly, Brady walks in, questioning his son. Tate lies, saying the call was from Aaron, and convinces Brady to allow them to party together, leaving Brady muttering about the impending chaos.
