EastEnders confirmed Anna Knight would be taken to hospital after a horror spiking incident while on a night out in recent spoilers, and now fans think they know the culprit

EastEnders viewers are suspecting they might know who is behind the spiking of Anna Knight’s drink on the BBC soap.

Tuesday’s episode saw the character struggling in a bar after her drink was spiked without her knowing. Anna sparked concern after she appeared very drunk despite not consuming that much alcohol, with a special digital series revealing the true extent of Anna’s ordeal.

As Tuesday’s episode ended, Anna was shown in a panic as she struggled to walk and ended up falling to the floor. As she tried to get out, a mystery character came up to her and offered her his hand.

The episode finished before we saw who the man was or what happened to Anna, while scenes earlier on appeared to show the same man watching her from afar. The man spying on Anna was wearing a similar if not the same shirt as that worn by the man who reached out to her, while his face was not shown.

Spoilers revealed that Wednesday’s episode would pick up from when Anna is in the hospital, not revealing what happened inbetween. Anyone who watched the special online mini-episode will know that Anna was led outside by the man, with her vision blurred and her in a bad way.

It was revealed in this special episode that it was the same man who was in the club, and he led her through the Square – with it suggested he had spiked her drink. As her pals frantically searched for her, they suddenly found her unconscious in the back of a taxi and she was rushed to hospital.

The mystery man was shown rushing off after he saw Anna’s sister racing towards the cab, with it not known where he went next. But amid it seemingly being confirmed who had spiked Anna’s drink, fans were convinced there was more to the mystery character.

After a chilling scene recently saw Anna being the victim of a mugging outside the club, viewers began to speculate she was being targeted by the same man with both the mugging and the spiking incident. Other fans wondered if Bobby Beale could be involved, but he was nowhere near the scene.
