EastEnders spoilers for next week tease exit twists, secret plans and a life on the line as a character faces death, in what’s set to be a dramatic week in Walford

EastEnders viewers can expect huge drama ahead on the BBC soap next week, including death fears for a much-loved character.

There’s a huge threat for one character as his lies catch up with him – but will he regret taking on Phil Mitchell? Another character’s lies result in them hitting the bottle, leading to life or death scenes.

More than one resident battles to rally around a character, while there’s one villain who’s up to no good again. There’s also hints at what leads to the exit of a character after years on the show, with a possible new romance on the cards following a past fling.

One resident is made homeless, another is playing with fire while an affair heats up in Walford, leaving the characters involved at risk of being rumbled. Kicking off the week we see Linda Carter struggling to cope, amid a blackmail twist.

A mystery character continues to target her with letters, amid her covering up her killer crime that saw her murder Keanu Taylor. As Linda loses control, her family including worried son Johnny Carter are at a loss as how to help her.

Linda ends up having a massive row with Johnny over recent events, with Johnny continuing to cover for his mum. But when he returns home he finds Linda in a life-threatening situation.

What has happened to Linda and will she survive? Gina Knight finds herself kicked out of The Vic by a furious Johnny after she was meant to be keeping an eye on her.

Elsewhere, Gina has wise words for sister Anna Knight amid a possible love triangle between her partner Bobby Beale and their pal Freddie Slater. Fans may recall Anna slept with Freddie leaving Bobby heartbroken months ago.

Now, Anna is insisting that Bobby is the man for her, but Gina is convinced her sibling is in love with his friend. Freddie ends up hearing this and feels awkward given their history.

Bobby hasn’t really been there for his girlfriend recently, while Freddie has. But Freddie feels the need to step aside and keep a distance to stop anymore drama.

We know that Bobby is leaving the BBC soap in the coming weeks or months, so could this confirm heartache ahead, and will he leave after another betrayal? Freddie does have feelings for Anna according to spoilers, so maybe it’s only a matter of time before the pair act on this!

Elsewhere, Nish Panesar continues to try and come between ex Suki Panesar and her partner Eve Unwin amid a proposal. After convincing a blast from the past, Ayesha, to visit Walford knowing Suki once had feelings for her, he makes the newcomer a tempting offer
