EastEnders spoilers: Jack and Amy get more bad news about Denise after sectioning

Despite finally receiving the medical attention she needs, Denise Fox (Diane Parish) continues to worsen in upcoming EastEnders scenes.

Viewers have watched as her condition has spiralled since being involved in the murder of Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) on Christmas Day and subsequently fall onto his rotting corpse as it lay concealed beneath the floorboards in the café.

Since then, she’s had terrifying nightmares of Keanu burying her alive and had visions of him following her around her house.

She’s also been haunted by her iconic ‘D’ shaped necklace that was accidentally buried with his body.

When step-daughter Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd) questioned Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) about her bipolar disorder, it didn’t take her long to realise her was actually concerned about Denise’s condition.

In yesterday’s (February 22nd) emotional episode, she was rescued and subsequently sectioned under the mental health act after driving off into woodland with Amy, wanting to protect her family from the ‘devil’.

Upcoming scenes will see civil partner Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) struggle following the ordeal and turn back to his bit on the side Stacey for support when Denise refuses to see him at the facility she is staying in.

Not wanting to cause any further concern for his daughter, Jack lies to Amy and assures her that she’s doing well, but she’s put out when Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) reveals the truth.

Meanwhile, Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) is angry at Stacey for calling in medical assistance, worried that Denise could threaten their freedom going forward.

She’s also convinced that she’s got her hands on the murder weapon which Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) dramatically revealed had gone missing in Monday’s (19th February) instalment.

Realising that Suki may be onto something, Stacey rushes to assure Jack not to believe anything that Denise say about the Christmas Day murder.

Will Jack be the next to find out the truth?
