EastEnders’ Nish Panesar uncovers family betrayal as relative traps him

During the latest edition of EastEnders, Nish Panesar found himself in a very dangerous situation with his ex-wife Priya and her new boyfriend Denzel

EastEnders viewers were left stunned on Wednesday (July 31) as Nish Panesar discovered the shocking truth about his son and ex-wife’s plans.

Nish, played by Navin Chowdhry, is a villainous character who has been diagnosed with viral myocarditis and urgently needs a heart transplant. Without a new heart, his health will rapidly decline.

In light of this devastating news, Nish and his son Ravi (Aaron Thiara) decided to put their differences aside. However, his ex-wife Suki (Balvinder Sopal) did not follow suit.

Vinny, Nish’s youngest son played by Shiv Jalota, initially refused to have anything to do with his father but later pledged to support him during their limited time together.

In a shocking twist, it was revealed that Vinny, with the help of Suki, has been manipulating Nish in order to inherit the Panesar empire. Now, Nish is aware of their scheme, reports the Daily Star.

During the latest episode, which can be viewed early on iPlayer, Nish and Ravi were preparing to take Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) to his dialysis session. However, when Priya (Sophie Khan Levy) offered to accompany them, they turned her down.

Priya then sought help from Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega) and made a deal with him. In exchange for using her hospital visiting rights to spend time with Nugget, he would put in a good word for her with his friend.

Denzel and Priya arrived at the hospital just as Ravi and Nish went to get coffee. While Nugget was pleased to see Denzel, he didn’t extend a warm welcome to his mother.

Priya attempted to reconcile with her son Nugget, who remained angry after witnessing her and Nish in a passionate embrace before his collapse due to steroid use.

Just as it seemed she was making progress with her son, Ravi and Nish returned, sparking a massive argument that led Nugget to demand everyone leave.

Nish threatened Priya, stating that if she continued trying to reintegrate into the family, he would ensure she never saw her children again.

Later, Priya turned up at the Minute Mart, instructing the shop assistant to take the rest of the day off, before summoning Nish to the shop under the pretence of an electrical issue.

As Nish inspected the fuse box, Priya handcuffed him to the pipes and tried to record a video of him confessing they had not slept together.
