EastEnders may be set to bring back another iconic character after a legend of the BBC soap was spotted near the set.

In recent weeks, we’ve had several announcements of returning characters, including David Wicks (Michael French) and Chrissie Watts (Tracy-Ann Oberman), but it seems that EastEnders isn’t stopping there.

New pictures reveal that actress Patsy Palmer, who plays Bianca Jackson, has been spotted near the BBC studios in Elstree, where the show is filmed.

Bianca returned to our screens earlier this year for a short stint, when Whitney Dean (Shona Mcgarty) paid her a visit in Milton Keynes.

Pregnant Whitney was keen to support Bianca after her break-up from long-term boyfriend Terry, while also getting away from Albert Square herself.

While in Milton Keynes, her relationship with Zack was tested when she took Britney Wainwright (Lola Campbell) under her wing, leaving Bianca stuck in the middle.

When Bianca returned to Albert Square, she uncovered Zack Hudson and Lauren Branning’s (James Farrar and Jacqueline Jossa) one night stand, but chose to keep it a secret from Whitney.

This ended up causing huge heartache for Bianca when Whitney found out that she’d known, having found out from Britney at the alter on her wedding day.

Heartbroken, Whitney told Bianca that she couldn’t come with her up North, though they had planned to all move away together.

It was then that Bianca began to spiral, and later confided in Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) that she had been diagnosed with depression, before driving her van out of Walford.

More recently, actress Patsy sparked rumours of a return when she posted a picture of Bianca and David Wicks to her Instagram story, with the caption, ‘Every girl needs her father’.

The post came just after it was announced that Michael French would be reprising his role as David Wicks, and left fans wondering if his return storyline would also involved Bianca.

When David first arrived on Albert Square back in 1993, he began to develop romantic feelings towards Bianca, before having the bombshell dropped on him that she was actually his daughter. Classic EastEnders.

With David coming back and Patsy having been spotted outside the set, could they be set to work together again in the coming weeks?
