Former EastEnders star John Partridge has been summoned back on the Square after reuniting with onscreen sister Laurie Brett.

The 53-year-old actor, who played Christian Clarke on the BBC soap, had been a central player in the storyline that saw a love triangle develop between Christian, Syed (Marc Elliott) and Amira (Preeya Kalidas).

In his latest Instagram post, John posed for the camera alongside former TV sis Laurie, who played Jane Beale on the soap.

‘#clarkesassemble. There is no skool like the #oldskool,’ he captioned the post.

Fans were living for the reunion and seeing as Jane recently made a surprise return to Walford, viewers are hoping Christian will follow suit.

Jane recently returned to the Square last month. At first, Cindy (Michelle Collins) grew suspicious of Ian (Adam Woodyatt) and thought he was having an affair. When she followed him to a cottage, Cindy got the shock of her life when she came face to face with Jane, Ian’s ex-wife.

It was later confirmed Jane absolutely wasn’t having an affair with Ian. She had got in contact with him to talk about reconnecting with son Bobby (Clay Milner Russell), who will soon turn 21.
