EastEnders’ evil Dean star Matt Di Angelo reveals personal family ‘challenge’ amid soap trial

An innocent Dean Wicks is set to take the stand for Keanu Taylor’s murder in EastEnders, as Matt Di Angelo reveals his ‘biggest challenge’ in his personal life away from the soap

It’s a tough time for Matt Di Angelo’s character Dean Wicks in EastEnders as he takes the stand and possibly the wrap for Keanu Taylor’s murder. He’s also opened up about ‘challenges’ in his personal life, as the actor shared an adorable clip of his twin children to his Instagram.

In the montage, the 37-year-old posted an adorable video of his twins Raphael and Daphne running around the house causing havoc to celebrate their second birthday, as he called being a father ‘the most challenging and rewarding experience’. In the caption, the EastEnders actor penned: “Having you two in my life, is without doubt the most challenging and rewarding experience. I wouldn’t change it for the world. Happy Birthday babies.”

Fans took to the comments to wish the twins a happy birthday and comment on how adorable they are. “Happy 2nd birthday to your beautiful twinnies,” gushed one. “Aww happy earthday to the rascals. 2 terrible 2s are u ready for the fun times to begin!” another exclaimed. A third joked: “soo soo cute adorable and hope you get out of jail soon in eastenders poor dean getting the blame!”

In today (Monday’s) episode of the BBC soap, EastEnders fans will be on the edge of their seats as Dean takes the stand for the murder of Keanu. The plot to frame him relies on Linda Carter’s witness statement, and although she sobers up enough to make it to the hearing, however, she freaks out and leaves the courtroom when a situation gets out of control which could hamper The Six’s chances of getting away with the murder.

The storyline had viewers hooked over the Christmas period of 2023, as Linda Carter, Sharon Watts, Stacey Slater, Suki Panesar, Denise Fox and Cathy Beale found themselves in the Queen Vic, eventually leading to Linda stabbing Keanu in the back in a desperate and uncalculated attempt to save her best friend.

Viewers had been speculating who the murder victim would be for months, and were even left suspecting right until the very last minute when Denise hit Nish Panesar over the head with a bottle.

Nish was left fighting for his life, but eventually recovered. When he did, he was told
