EastEnders confirms who takes Gray’s house – and a twist follows

Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) was left stunned in EastEnders earlier this month, when murderous ex-husband Gray Atkins’ (Toby Alexander-Smith) plan to sell her home from under her was revealed.

The serial killer delivered the blow from behind bars, with Chelsea only finding out she would be made homeless when a ‘for sale’ board was erected outside No. 1.

Next week sees Chelsea and her housemates Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris) and Felix Baker (Matthew Morrison) forced to move out, with Chelsea heading to live with the rest of the Fox-Trueman family at No. 20.

No.1’s new owner is then revealed to be Walford newcomer Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian), who has bought the place for him and sons Harry (Elijah Holloway) and Barney (Lewis Bridgeman).

While Billy (Perry Fenwick) and Honey (Emma Barton) warn him that Gray murdered both wife Chantelle Atkins (Jessica Plummer) and Tina Carter (Luisa Bradshaw-White) in the house, Teddy is unfazed.

But a clueless Harry later makes a tactless remark to Chelsea, which upsets her.

It’s not long before Teddy marches Harry over to No. 20 to apologise, and it emerges the newcomers are hiding a secret, with Teddy reminding his son about the trouble they’ve left behind and the need to make new friends.

However, it looks like their past is set to catch up with them as they host a housewarming party later in the week.

As the boys turn on the charm with their new neighbours, Harry reveals to his dad that ‘you know who’ has been sniffing around their old place to find out where they’ve moved to.

What have they run away from?
