EastEnders spoilers follow for Tuesday’s episode (July 23), which is available to watch now on streaming service BBC iPlayer and hasn’t yet aired on TV.

EastEnders has aired dramatic scenes between Kat Slater and Tommy Moon in the show’s latest episode.

This week, Kat and Alfie discovered that Tommy had skipped school on the last day before summer, and Alfie found him training in the gym with Phil.

After a chat with Harvey, Tommy decided to take action and asked Phil if he wanted Kat back, telling him that he wanted them to be a family again.

In the latest episode, Kat and Alfie were pleased that Tommy had made a good start to his summer job at the laundrette, and Kat even said she would buy him the trainers he wanted if he kept up the good work.

But Kat soon had bad news for Alfie when she realised not only that Tommy hadn’t shown up to his job, but that he had blocked the tracking app on her phone.

Tommy had called round to Phil’s house, where he asked him about what he had said yesterday, stressing that Alfie didn’t compare to him as a dad.

Phil admitted that he still loved Kat, so Tommy lied and said that Kat wanted him back but needed him to make the first move.

Meanwhile, Kat was on the hunt for Tommy, and eventually found out from Chelsea that her son was at Phil’s.

Kat stormed into the house, where Phil told her that he missed her and wanted them to give their relationship another go.

But her response wasn’t quite what Phil had hoped for, as Kat simply laughed in his face at the thought of a reunion and said she would never forgive him for cheating on her.

Kat was shocked when Phil said it was Tommy who had put this idea into his head, and she demanded that Tommy go home.

Back at the flat, Tommy made some more rude comments to Kat, and a huge argument unfolded after he said that he wanted Phil as his dad again.

Kat said that Alfie is ten times the dad that Phil will ever be and reminded Tommy of where Phil’s kids are now, saying he was using him to get back with her.

Furious, Tommy charged at Kat and punched her in the stomach, so Kat fought back and pushed him to the floor.

As Tommy stood up, he told his mum, “You’re going to regret that you ever did that”. What will Tommy do now?
