Well, the latest Days of Our Lives Spoilers offer a huge clue to what is actually going on in Salem. Days just dropped a new preview video and it shows Mark Greene paying Clyde Weston a visit in the prison.

Clyde orders Mark to get “Abigail” hitched to Chad DiMera as soon as possible. This makes it clear that the Greene siblings are mere pawns in the game and Clyde Weston is the one running the show.

But what is Clyde’s agenda in this high-stakes game? If we reflect back to the past episodes, we can clearly recall “Abigail” wanting to stay put in the DiMera Mansion.

Thus, it is possible that this whole con is about the Mansion, and not Chad per se. Perhaps there is a secret item hidden somewhere in the DiMera Mansion that Clyde wants to get his hands on.

Maybe there is some damning proof hidden in the Mansion against him that he wants to eliminate.

However, there is an equal chance that he is after some secret map to an elusive treasure or something similar. With DOOL when can never tell! From magical orchids to miracle serums, everything floats!
