Denise Fox (Diane Parish) decides to try and open up to Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) in EastEnders next week after the crush at Peggy’s.

Earlier this year, Denise’s daughter Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams) increased the amount of tickets available at an event created by Penny (Kitty Castledine). Her intention was to create a bit of a busy and stressful atmosphere out of revenge, but the situation got out of hand very quickly due to more and more people piling into the building.

When an unlocked door was eventually discovered, hundreds of people tried to escape at once. As a result, multiple Walford residents sustained injuries including Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd), who has been in a wheelchair for her recovery.

Coming up, Yolande (Angela Wynter) has a chat with Denise about the importance of honesty and truth, triggering guilty Denise into opening up in a vague way about her lies over the crush.

With Yolande’s words about the nature of lies ringing in her ears, Denise makes her way over to see Jack, planning on telling him that Chelsea caused the events at the club.

In the week, Jack is overwhelmed with the demands of caring for Amy and running the house singlehandedly. He agrees to let Penny come over to help her sister and later, he’s pleased to see Amy in much better spirits thanks to a visit from her sibling.

Unfortunately though, Jack ruins the entire mood by making tactless comment that upsets Penny.

Towards the end of the week, Jack and Denise find themselves involved in an emotional moment. Jack tells Denise how grateful he is for everything she’s done for their family and gives a moving speech about how amazing she is.

Something tells us Jack won’t say all of this to Denise if he learns about her lies and Chelsea’s involvement in the event at Peggy’s.

If Denise continues to keep it a secret, just what will happen when the truth is eventually exposed?
