Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recently announced more major character returns for 2025. In fact, there will be a total of eight major players making a comeback to Salem.
According to TV Insider, Carrie Brady Reed (Christie Clarke), Will Horton (Chandler Massey), Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley), Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis), Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves), Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal), and Shane Donovan are all coming back to the soap in the new year.
In addition, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), who just finished up a stint on the show, is also returning in 2025.

It’s going to be an 80s and 90s revival in Salem, with so many characters making a comeback in the new year.
On top of the characters listed, it was also been previously announced that Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney), as well as Bo Brady (Peter Reckell), and Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso), are set to come back in 2025.
DOOL’s Executive Producer, Ken Corday, chimed in on all the major character returns by telling TV Insider, “We always love it when members of our beloved family return to Salem.”
He added, “Fans are really going to enjoy what we have in store beginning this fall and well into next year.” All eight returning characters have major roots – and major history in Salem.
