Days of Our Lives fans can tell that the recent wrap-up was not totally out of the blue. A major part of the “Beverett” plot was written during the Writers’ Strike.

So, if the new writing team didn’t see eye to eye with the original plan for Everett, they could make the changes. They would obviously want to clean the slate and steer the show in a fresh direction.

Moreover, we never really got to unearth what broke Everett’s mind. Or if he would ever work things out with Stephanie or call a truce with Jada. Sadly, we’ll just have to let go of those unresolved plot threads. On a brighter note, Elia Cantu gave Blake Berris a warm send-off. She shared her thoughts and some behind-the-scenes moments on Instagram.

Cantu wrote, “Jada and Bobby might’ve had a complicated relationship on screen, but Blake Berris and I got along great. Additionally, she praised Blake, whom she’s going to miss dearly, calling him an amazing actor—fearless, present, and respectful.” The DOOL star added, “Your passion for the craft is inspiring, and I loved playing Jada alongside your Bobby!”

Furthermore, Elia isn’t the only grieving one, as fans also feel the loss! One user commented, “I would’ve loved to see more of the Bobby/Everett story unfold. They wanted to know what went down with Bobby’s past and his parents. Another fan chimed in, “This storyline ended on such a cliffhanger. There has to be another twin coming.”
