Days of our Lives spoilers for Friday, July 5, end the week with Eric looking to end his connection with Nicole — by leaving town.

So Long, Farewell

Eric (Greg Vaughan) told Marlena (Deidre Hall) and Roman (Josh Taylor) that the only way he could think of getting over Nicole (Arianne Zucker) was by bidding Salem farewell.

But now it’s time to tell Nicole that. Nicole, of course, claims she only wants what makes Eric happy. But, you know what would make Nicole happy…other than Eric’s happiness, that is…?

What’s Up, Bros?

Gabi (Cherie Jimenez — here’s what you need to know) is still getting her Salem legs back and slowly reintegrating into her old, non-prison life. Yet, some things have remained the same. Stefan (Brandon Barash) and EJ are still fighting non-stop.

Only, this time, the fighting is connected to what got Gabi out of prison. And that secret is connected to the secret of Nicole and “EJ’s” baby boy…will the truth come out just as Eric is explaining to Nicole that they have no future together?

Girl Power

While the boys are arguing over who becomes the most important DiMera son, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) has no trouble knowing she’s the key DiMera daughter. (Megan, who?) In order to hold onto her power, Kristen is always on the lookout for allies. Her latest target is Melinda (Tina Huang).

Melinda knows all sorts of things that could damage EJ (Dan Feuerriegel). Including the fact that he’s not Jude’s biological father. Will the truth come out just as Eric explains to Nicole that they have no future together?

Just the Two of Us

While Eric and Nicole definitely have no future together, EverBob (Blake Berris) might have two. Marlena thinks his two personalities can be integrated. Yeah…EverBob isn’t into that. He’d rather stay Bobby, which is for Everett’s own good, you know. But will he keep protecting Everett once Jada goes to Rafe (Galen Gering) with what Bobby accused him of?
