Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Abe Carver (James Reynolds) may not get the response he’s hoping for when he makes a pitch to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans).
DOOL fans know Abe and Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) have some crucial roles they need to recast on Body and Soul – including Charlemagne (Deidre Hall) and Kassandra (Mary Beth Evans).
Although Abe will try to get Marlena and Kayla on board with replacing their lookalike actresses, they already have full-time positions at the hospital.
Even if Kayla relents, it seems likely Marlena will shut Abe down hard when he tries to recruit her.

On Instagram, Deidre Hall shared a screenshot from DOOL’s weekly preview video and dropped a big hint about Hattie Adams’ (Deidre Hall) Salem homecoming.
“She’s baaaaaack!” Hall said in her caption, which left Hattie fans delighted in the comments section.
The latest Days comings and goings news backs this up, so viewers will indeed be treated to Hattie Adams’ return during the week of July 29-August 2.
Abe and Katie will put out a casting call as they work to fill the necessary roles, so it looks like Hattie will hear about their dilemma and decide she’s the perfect Charlemagne replacement.
Hattie normally pops up to take Marlena’s place whenever she appears, so it’ll be refreshing to see her doing something different this time around.
Hattie will apparently want to be a soap star, so she’ll give it everything she’s got at her audition.
Will Kate and Abe ultimately give Hattie the job and let her take over the role of Charlemagne on Body and Soul?
