Days of Our Lives Spoilers reveal that Deidre Hall (Dr. Marlena Evans) has finally spoken out about the death of her onscreen love portrayer, Drake Hogestyn (John Black). Deidre opened up to Access Hollywood in an exclusive interview about her leading man concentrating on the legacy that Drake Hogestyn has left behind both personally and professionally.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers indicate that Deidre said the following in her interview, “For nearly 4 decades, Marlena Evans and I have loved the same man. Marlena’s John is an iconic hero, unfailingly rescuing her from all matter of villains. My acting partner was incredibly professional from the moment he entered the studio; flawless in his preparation and ready for any eventuality in any scene.”
Drake was dedicated to his work and his family. Hall stated, “He was gracious and kind to everyone, from the executive staff to the night crew.
Drake loved what he did and adored and respected everyone with whom he did it. Having said that, we always knew that his two greatest loves were his family and the Yankees. Victoria and their children were truly the center of his life. Drake is dearly loved by everyone who ever knew him and he will be missed beyond measure. We will continue, as he always encouraged us, to swing for the fences.”

Fans had been inquiring when Deidre would speak out asking Jason47 about anything that may have been posted by her.
However, Jason47 had replied that Christie Clark (Carrie Reed), who remains close to her onscreen stepmother, had spoken to Deidre who was taking the loss of Drake pretty hard. Jason47 had asked fans to honor her request for privacy.
Drake Hogestyn passed away on September 28, he would have turned 71 the next day. Hogestyn’s onscreen sons, Eric Martsolf (Brady Black) and Christopher Sean (Paul Narita) also shared memories and stories of their onscreen dad with Access Hollywood. The October 2 show has other’s who share their thoughts on Drake’s passing as well.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Drake’s Last Scenes Have Already Aired
Fans learned shortly after Drake’s death that his final scenes had already air. John was with both Brady and Tate Black (Leo Howard) on his final day on the set.
Brady had gotten released from custody due to lack of evidence and Tate was discussing girl troubles with his Grandpa. Of course, no one knew that this was the last scenes at the time.
Where will Marlena go from here? Losing John will obvious be a hard hit for her. John was the love of her life and they have saved each other time and again. How will John be written out of the show?
All of these question will be answered on down the road since Days films months in advance. Hopefully Marlena’s hero will have a worthy send off. Drake will certainly be missed.
