Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, July 17, reveal that Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will get updates on Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) moving full-speed ahead with their wedding plans. Once Brady finds out Theresa and Alex’s marriage ceremony is happening today, he’ll definitely be thrown for a loop.
Of course, the double nuptials won’t actually begin until later this week due to soap time, but Brady will still react with shock over the news.
Since Alex and Theresa don’t really get along with Xander Cook (Paul Telfer), Brady will struggle to understand why they’re piggybacking on Xander’s wedding to Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey).
However, Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) and Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) both felt this was a path to Kiriakis family unity, so Theresa and Alex got on board.
Brady may suspect Theresa really just wants to lock in a future with Alex ASAP – and marrying quickly is indeed part of why she agreed to the whole double wedding idea.
Even so, Theresa will insist she simply can’t wait to make Alex her husband and may shut down any lingering suspicions that Brady brings up.
Deep down, Brady will still be struggling with his own feelings for Theresa, so Paul Narita (Christopher Sean) will return for the wedding with Andrew Donovan (Colton Little) and push Brady for the truth at some point.
In the meantime, Days spoilers say Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will plan the future, so they’ll have to decide what the next chapter looks like and whether a romantic reunion is on the horizon.
Jude Brady’s (Oliver McLarty) paternity was a game-changer in many ways, so Eric and Nicole will certainly want to co-parent him.
Nicole and Eric also can’t deny that they still love each other, so that’s something they’ll have to address.
Based on DOOL’s weekly preview video, it appears this discussion will lead to Eric and Nicole sharing a sizzling kiss.
Even if Nicole and Eric don’t nail down all the details of what’s next, they can at least get honest and lock lips.
Unfortunately, Nicole’s Days exit is happening by the end of this month, so this storyline will come with a few more curveballs.
Other Days spoilers say Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will make an unsettling discovery.
When Johnny spots EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) fuming over the divorce papers Nicole sent over, Johnny may try to settle his dad down.
Although Johnny may push EJ to just let Nicole go, he may make one last effort to fight for her.
