Drumroll, please! The big reveal is that AlexAnn Hopkins is stepping into the role of Joy Wesley on Days of Our Lives. If Joy’s name doesn’t immediately ring a bell or you need a refresher,  let us jog your memory. Joy is the second daughter of Nancy Miller and Craig Wesley, played by Patrika Darbo and Kevin Spirtas, respectively.

Moreover, the character is Chloe Lane’s younger sister, originally conceived as Chloe’s bone marrow donor. Turns out, Joy was truly a match and saved Chloe’s life.  She also became a beloved member of the Wesley family. Actress Patrika Darbo dropped hints about her return in October. Who knows, her character, Nancy, might play a role in reintroducing Joy to the storyline.

We can’t help but feel excited about how Joy will be woven back into the fabric of Salem life. Additionally, Hopkins is set to make her debut soon, and fans are already speculating about who her love interest might be. The word on the street is that Joy might possibly get together with Johnny DiMera, portrayed by Carson Boatman.

Interestingly, Hopkins follows Boatman on Instagram, which has only fueled the fire and intensified the buzz. Plus, soap couples rarely have smooth sailing, and rumors of trouble are already brewing in Johnny’s marriage to Chanel. Could there be a new romance on the horizon?
