Days of Our Lives Comings and Goings for the week of July 29-August 02 previews a major exit on the show. While the longtime supercouple leaves Salem, three familiar faces will return this week.
In the meantime, the characters who are leaving will not have their characters recast during this period. However, sources suggest that one of the stars of the couple will make appearances in the future. Who Will It Be? Read further to know more.
Veterans Actors Are Leaving The Show
As per the latest updates, Veterans Greg Vaughan and Arianne Zucker are leaving Days of Our Lives as Eric and Nicole, respectively. Fans will see them leave Salem for Paris for a new beginning.
On Monday, they will say goodbye to their loved ones before leaving. Zucker’s portrayal of Nicole Walker on Peacock’s DOOL was introduced in 1998. Vaughan, on the other hand, has been present in the cast since 2012.

It’s worth noting that your favorite, Eric, will return shortly after his exit as this isn’t the final chapter for him. However, we will see him for the last time with Nicole as she decides to exit permanently.
While leaving, they will take their son, Jude, along with them. As for Zucker, she recently made headlines for her recent lawsuit against Ken Corday of Corday Productions, and former director/executive producer Albert Alarr.
The actress explained in a press conference why she filed the lawsuit. “For quite some time, I’ve seen my female coworkers sexually harassed and degraded by Albert,” she said in a Deadline press conference. Anyway, fans are already disappointed with this sad news of the couple’s departure. If Nicole is recast, we will keep you updated on it.
Three Iconic Characters Returns
Meanwhile, three actors will reprise their roles on the soap. One of them is Deidre Hall, and the other two will be Colton Little and Christopher Sean. Hall’s Hattie Adams is reported to be doing double duty again.
Look forward to seeing her audition for the Body and Soul revival as a Marlena lookalike. On that note, she will begin a new role while continuing with her existing one. The last time we saw her onscreen was in 2020, so her return will bring some shocking surprises.
