Producer Lil Rod Breaks Silence On P Diddy Lawsuit

You know what they say: Hell hath no fury like Days of Our Lives’ Gabi. Well, it’s something like that. Regardless, now that she knows about Stefan sleeping with Ava, she’s decided to not just take her soon-to-be-ex-husband for all he’s worth, but make him hurt as much as she can in the process.

So while we may be trying to pick our jaws up off the floor as she puts the moves on EJ, we have to admit, sleeping with him does make a certain amount of sense. Who else would hurt Stefan as much as his brother? Plus, while EJ and Gabi may hate each other (he threw her in prison and she blew up his marriage), that’s pretty much how “Stabi” started. And look at them now!

OK, maybe now isn’t the best time to check in on their relationship, but Gabi wouldn’t be doing this much to hurt her hubby if she, in turn, wasn’t greatly hurt by his infidelity. That’s love — albeit not the healthy kind!

Luckily, Cherie Jimenez and Brandon Barash started off on much better footing. When Gabi’s portrayer spoke with Soaps.com a little while back, she shared how everything between them clicked into place practically from the start.

“It’s really nice because,” she shared, because, “I feel like I’ve known [Brandon] forever. When we’re acting together, especially at the beginning when we first met, there was just a sense of a familiar feeling like we’d been acting together for a really long time. He’s such an incredible actor that it allows for me to be a better actor, and it allows me to really do my best and give it my all.”

Giving it her all has taken on a whole new meaning now that Gabi’s turned on Stefan, but whether playing love or hate, that sense of comfort is crucial.

Right from the start, Barash “made it such a wonderful environment for me, as did everybody else — all the directors and all the producers — that it allowed for me to just really be present and live within the scene. And every time I step on set, that’s exactly how it’s been, it hasn’t changed. It continues to just be such a wonderful set.”

As to where Gabi will go next, it’s anyone’s guess. She and Stefan fought so hard to get
