It’s been a long two years since we’ve seen Alison Sweeney on Days of Our Lives and now that she’s bringing Sami back to Salem, her fans have something to celebrate. Much like the actress, who isn’t only celebrating her latest daytime comeback but another very big milestone as well.

Sweeney posted a photo on social media alongside her son Ben and husband David Sanov — and boy, he’s not a little boy anymore! Not only is he taller than his mom, he’s taller than his dad too.

Ben is about to start a new chapter in his life and the daytime actress is clearly a proud mama. “It’s move in day!” Sweeney announced last week. “We are so excited to celebrate this new chapter for Ben.”

As you can see, the family is seen standing in front of a building at Baylor University, one of the top colleges in Texas. Anyone who has gone off to college knows what a big change it can be, and the actress who plays Sweeney’s onscreen mom Marlena, Deidra Hall, agreed and stated, “Oh my. Big change!”

Back in May, the actress posted a few more pics to commemorate Ben’s high school graduation and this time, his younger sister Megan was there in the mix. “We are so proud of Ben,” Sweeney expressed. “What a big night cheering on Ben as he graduates high school! Oh the places you’ll go.”

We have no doubt that the future looks bright for Ben and we wish him the best of luck as he ventures into his freshman year of college.
