This fall, Days fans will get a treat when Patrika Darbo returns as Nancy Wesley. According to SOD’s fall preview from Ken Corday, she’ll return with someone she thinks is a fit for the Body & Soul soap opera. “She turns up with some unexpected surprises up her sleeve,” shares the Executive Producer.

Cary Christopher

Watch for Cary Christopher to make another quick return as Thomas DiMera.

You’ll catch him in scenes with Chad (Billy Flynn) on Thursday, August 29.

Greg Vaughan

Greg Vaughan (Eric Brady) left Days a mere few weeks ago with Ari Zucker (Nicole Walker DiMera) and he’s back on Thursday, September 5.

He’ll be back to provide support to Brady (Eric Martsolf) and in scenes with Marlena (Deidre Hall). The actor is said to be exiting in a few months.

Kyle Lowder back in 2025

Kyle Lowder hasn’t been seen in his role as Rex Brady since 2023 when Sarah was pregnant with Xander’s baby.

He’s returning once again to Days, but folks won’t see him until 2025 due to the show’s taping schedule.

Lowder teased his return on an Instagram story that he was sitting in a parking lot in Burbank.

August exit!

Emily O’Brien is leaving Days of our Lives as Theresa Donovan. She took over the role for Jen Lilley in October 2023. O’Brien’s last airdate is Thursday, August 8 when she’s sent to Statesville prison. There’s a good chance that she’ll return as Gwen Rizczech.

Cady McClain makes a comeback as Jennifer

Cady McClain (Jennifer Devereaux) returns on Friday, August 16.

Jennifer is eager to get some answers about Abigail from Chad. The next time we see Jennnifer is in September when Melissa Reeves will have a shot at the Musical Jennifers role.

AnnaLynn McCord to Days as “Marin,” which is code for Abigail

Actress, Humanitarian and model, AnnaLynne McCord just signed a one-year contract on Days of our Lives as Marin.

Marin is described as a “fascinating and complicated woman who is devastatingly beautiful, almost angelic in her outward appearance. The desire of many but her heart belongs to only one man who continues to push her away for her own good,” per Deadline.

McCord is best known for portraying Naomi Clark on CW’s 90210 reboots, and other vixen-type roles, but behind the scenes, she is an advocate for mental health and is dedicated to ending human trafficking.

McCord’s role begins on Wednesday, June 19. By the time mid-August rolls around, we’ll be told she’s Abigail Deveraux DiMera. But as usual, considering this is Days, are we ever 100% certain?

Say goodbye to Blake Berris

Blake Berris exited Days of our Lives in the August 1 episode in an abrupt way.

Everett/Bobby (EverBobby) Lynch was killed by Connie Viniski (Julie Dove). This isn’t the first time the actor’s character has been killed off.

Berris used to portray Nick Fallon from 2006-2009 and he returned in 2012, finally getting killed off in 2014.

He reprised the role in 2021 when the devil possessed Marlena and he showed up in purgatory to terrorize Marlena (Deidre Evans), Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans).

With Days being Days, we wonder who he’ll return as next.

Greg Vaughan

Greg Vaughan will be exiting Days of our Lives as Eric Brady alongside Arianne Zucker (Nicole Walker). The pair ride off into the sunset so to speak on Monday, July 29 when Eric and Nicole finally reunite after years of their on-and-mostly-off relationship.

Vaughn was quoted in his Instagram stories as saying, “I didn’t leave by choice; I never had a choice,” with a heartbroken emoji at the end of the sentence. Folks can rest assured that the actor is not going for good. Vaughan will be back.

Fans of Christopher Sean and Colton Little will be happy since both reprise their roles of Paul Narita and Andrew Donovan this week of July 15.

Serena Scott Thomas debuts as Xander’s mom

Serena Scott Thomas makes her way to Days of Our Lives as Fiona Cook, Xander Cook’s (Paul Telfer) mother.

It looks as though Fiona stops the wedding. The actress shared a photo of herself on set with a caption that read, “I am so so excited to be working with all these completely wonderful people.

I have never had so much fun on a set and I am deeply grateful for this amazing opportunity. Thank you to everyone at Days Of Our Lives! You are the best!”

Kim Coles will be seen once again as Whitley.

She’s been taping recently and will be seen in winter scenes and possibly into 2025.

Casey Moss is still filming at Days of our Lives as JJ Deveraux as of June 8, 2024.

With Days’ taping schedule, we could be seeing Moss well into winter and possibly into 2025.

He’s back the first week of July. He’ll appear in several flashback scenes with Connie and then we’ll see a cardboard cutout.

Bill Hayes’ last airdate

The mainstay of Days of our Lives, Bill Hayes passed away on January 4, 2024, at the age of 98.

Hayes appeared on the show in February of 1970, originating the role of Doug Williams.

Jonah Robinson debuts on Days in June as Dr. Mark Greene. He is the brother of Kennedy Garcia (Felicity Greene) and Louis Tomeo (Aaron Greene).

New Gabi Hernandez

As reported, Cherie Jimenez (Gabi Hernandez) has been tapped to portray a recast of Camila Banus’ Gabi.

Jiminez has been in TV shows such as The Newsroom, Pretty Little Liars, and most recently, movies, Maya, and Breaking Tradition.

Judith Chapman does double duty!

As we reported 6 months ago or so, Judith Chapman returns to Days of our Lives in scenes with Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart).

The actress took to Facebook on December 10, to let fans know “Quick selfie after super work on Days…with dear Greg Rikaart!

We’re assuming she is back as Leo’s mom, Diana Colville/Cooper. Her first airdate is June 25, 2024. We last saw her in 2019.

Doug Simpson plays a bit part on Days of our Lives as ‘Bank Employee’, a man who will help Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and Chad (Billy Flynn) get into the safe deposit box that Clyde (James Read) led them to.

Lamon Archey & Sal Stowers Are Back

Lamon Archey (Eli Grant) and Sal Stowers (Lani Price Grant) are back in Salem on Wednesday, June 19.

They’re there for Abe and Paulina’s wedding anniversary and will be bringing along their twins. Zamir and Zyair Ashford (Carver Grant) and Dion and Raegan Yancy (Jules Grant) portray the kids.

Ashford and Reeves Make a Return to Days

Matthew Ashford (Jack Devereaux) is back on June 18. Cady McClain appears as Jennifer Deveraux on Friday, August 16 and in September, for the bigger storyline, Melissa Reeves will be back once again.

Jessica Serfaty’s exit

Jessica Serfaty exits Peacock’s Days of our Lives as Sloan Petersen on Monday, June 3. Sloan leaves Salem after the truth — or at least half of the truth about her stealing Nicole’s baby comes out. She gets a little financial help from EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegl).

The actress has been in the part since August 2022.

There is no word if there will be a return but her open exit could mean we see her again someday.

Kristian Alfonso makes a comeback

Kristian Alfonso returned to the Days set on April 22.

She’s back as Hope Brady for the on-air tribute to Bill Hayes (Doug Williams).

Peter Reckell (Bo Brady) will not be returning for this. The actor stated so himself on his Twitter account.

Alfonso told TVinsider, “My return is very bittersweet, because it is the end of an era with Bill gone. So to return to Days is very sad. I am appreciative that they came to me to include me in their series of shows honoring Doug and I’m very happy to see everyone, but I’m entering the studio with a heavy heart.”

This return will take place in December.

Al Calderon debuts likely by Thanksgiving.

The show hasn’t stated who he’ll be playing.

Since he’s with Cherie Jiminez in this photo in the Hernandez kitchen, he could either be Sonny Kiriakis (would Sonny really wear a crop top though?) or Dario Hernandez, Gabi’s brother.

More big returns: Days honors Bill Hayes (Doug Williams)

Bill Hayes died at the age of 98 on January 12, 2024, leaving behind Susan Seaforth Hayes (Julie Williams).

Days of our Lives will be honoring the beloved vet who originated the role of Doug Williams in 1970.

Doug will die and bring back a few of the actors for Doug’s funeral and the 15,000th episode, which will air in December 2024. SoapsSpoilers will add more as the information becomes available.

Tom and Alice Horton’s daughter returns

Maree Cheatham (Marie Horton), Tom and Alice’s daughter will be on hand for the tribute to Doug (Bill Hayes).Victoria Konefal makes a brief return

Victoria Konefal is back as (Ciara Brady Weston).

This could mean that Robert Scott Wilson (Alex) plays double duty as Ben Weston.

Madison and Beemer are back

Martha Madison (Belle Black Brady) and Brandon Beemer (Shawn Brady) will make a return.
