Coronation Street star Tanisha Gorey has said she has ‘fallen in love’ after ditching the UK with her co-stars. The actress was joined by three of her castmates on a recent girls’ trip to Rome.

Tanisha, who is known for playing Asha Alahan in the ITV soap, headed to the Italian city with fellow Corrie stars Lucy Fallon, Channique Sterling-Brown and Charlotte Jordan, who fans will know for starring as Bethany

Platt, Dee-Dee Bailey and Daisy Midgeley.

When the foursome arrived in Rome, they took to social media with an excited video, alongside which they said: “When the holiday makes it out the group chat,” before continuing to share updates from their break with their fans and followers.

Taking to her main Instagram grid, Tanisha shared a string of snaps as she took in some of the main hotspots. In one photo, the soap star was seen basking in the sun as she sported a matching pink striped top and shorts while covering her eyes with a dark pair of shades.

In another photo, Tanisha looked glamorous in a white summer dress as she perched on the side of the famous Trevi Fountain while looking away from the camera and at the statues around the 18th-century fountain.

“Fallen in love with Rome,” she captioned the post. Channique was quick to respond, writing: “She’s as beautiful as the scenery,” while fellow Corrie co-star Tina O’Brien replied: “Looking stunning.” Former soap star Stephanie Davis also posted: “Oh she a cutieeee,” as Hollyoaks’ Haiesha Mistry added: “Gorj.”

It comes after Tanisha and Channique ditched the UK last month for a sun-soaked trip to Mallorca. Channique confirmed in early July that she’d taken a break from playing the fabulous Dee-Dee and headed for Spain. Taking to Instagram, she seemingly revealed she’d made the trip with co-star Tanisha after snapping a picture of her as they chilled by the pool.
