Coronation Street star Mollie Gallagher appears to have been having all the fun as she ditched the UK with one of her castmates. The actress and her co-star Lisa George headed to Canada last week to meet fans of the ITV soap.

The show has a huge following, to the extent cast members fly 4,000 miles to host meet-and-greets, and Canadian fans travel to the UK in a pilgrimage to the set at MediaCityUK in Trafford. It was revealed that Lisa and Mollie Gallagher, who plays Weatherfield’s very own Nina Lucas, would be the next Corrie stars to make the trip.

Lisa, who plays Beth Sutherland in the soap, shared a photo of herself and Mollie at the airport and told her fans and followers: “And boarding!! Bon voyage! See you soon #Canada #Corrietour #girlsontour.”

Mollie, who will be known for playing Weatherfield’s Nina Lucas, also shared a picture to her own Instagram Story showing the two Corrie stars on the plane. Giving peace signs to the camera, the actress said: “Canada here we come.”

They have since been sharing updates on what they’ve been up to in between the shows in London, Toronto, Hamilton, St John’s and Halifax as they try and take in the sights while on their travels.

Sharing a snap from inside one of the theatres they visited, Mollie smiled for the camera as she sported a classic black dress boasting a thigh-high split and matching choker. Corrie co-star Sally Carman-Duttine was quick to respond, writing: “Stunner!” while new castmate Sydney Martin replied: “Gorgeous girl!”

Mollie has since taken to Instagram with a fresh selfie, with the black and white snap giving a close-up shot of the soap star’s look, featuring slicked-back locks and statement lipstick. She was also donning chunky gold earrings and a matching choker.
