Coronation Street star Claire Sweeney appears to have been enjoying the continued support for her and Ricky Hatton’s relationship after they were seen enjoying time together.

The actress accompanied her man to watch the Anthony Joshua fight over the weekend. The boxer was crushed inside five rounds by IBF world heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium on Saturday night (September 21) in the all-British showdown.

Claire and former boxer Ricky were among the famous faces heading to London to watch the explosive action unfold, with soap star Claire now taking to social media to reflect on what she described as the ‘best day’.

Sharing a video made up of pictures of videos, in which she and Ricky could be seen beaming for a photo inside Wembley Stadium as well as being seen alongside fellow boxing stars Amir Khan and Tony Bellew and Love Island host Maya Jama.

Captioning the post, Claire wrote: “Had the best day @wembleystadium on Saturday at the boxing, watching some great fights and the main event Joshua vs Dubois fight. Thank you @rickyhitmanhatton and @speak3536.”

The 53-year-old, who is currently playing Cassie Plummer in ITV’s Corrie, has since followed-up the post with a photo taken of herself and Ricky, 45, making their way ringside. Claire looked gorgeous in a leopard print slip dress with a plum-coloured leather jacket hanging over her shoulders.

She had a huge smile on her face as she walked through the stadium a step behind her beau, who could be seen sporting a floral patterned velvet blazer over a black tee and matching jeans.

“Love this pic @rickyhitmanhatton I was like a kid, so excited to be ringside at this iconic fight Joshua vs Dubois @wembleystadium and thank you @speak3536,” Claire captioned the post and she was quick to like the comments as they came flooding in.
