Coronation Street’s Kit Green actor Jacob Roberts has hinted at what’s next amid his character targeting Craig Tinker, but someone else could expose his villainous actions

Coronation Street star Jacob Roberts has teased which character will expose Kit Green’s recent dark behaviour.

But amid a twist that saw Kit target Craig Tinker and his mum Beth Tinker, resulting in Beth’s sad exit from the show, it won’t be either character that could bring Kit down. Speaking exclusively to The Mirror after recent drama, actor Jacob hinted that Daniel Osbourne could be out to get Kit.

We’ve seen Daniel admit he doesn’t trust the character, and he came close to the truth about Beth’s abrupt exit. Kit blackmailed Beth to leave the cobbles for good after uncovering her counterfeit t-shirt dealings.

After Beth found out he was involved with the guy she was selling to, she threatened to expose him as a corrupt officer. Instead, Kit tricked police officer Craig into confessing he’d covered up a crime to protect someone.

Kit used this information to threaten Beth into leaving, saying he would destroy Craig’s career if she didn’t leave and end her tirade against him. We’ve also seen Kit setting people up and being involved in some dodgy dealings, with no one yet to rumble him.

Now it seems Daniel could expose Kit to residents, with actor Jacob warning a feud could be on the horizon amid new scenes with Daniel’s ex Daisy Midgeley. He told us, ruling out Craig being his downfall: “I don’t know how Craig would find out [about Beth], but I think there might be something brewing with Daniel Osbourne.

“He’s suspicious of him and that would be nice to play. He’s quite confident that Craig will never find out and he’s got so much on him that he could get him sacked.” On a Daniel feud he teased: “I’d love that, it would be be nice to play.

“Daniel is suss of him and Daisy too. I’m picking up the scripts like is this my last one? If he can get away with it, that’s always good.” Teasing drama with Daisy, he spilled: “There is stuff coming up with Daisy where we might see a softer side to Kit,” with the actor then teasing he could be using emotions to trick Daisy.

Jacob then revealed: “I’ve got a lot of stuff with Swain, we start to see tension between them. It’s who’s better, that sort of stuff. It’s a great relationship. I would love to play a villain it would be nice to play that side.”
