More drama is happening on Coronation Street

Daniel Osbourne seemingly smells a rat in Coronation Street next week and it could mean Kit Green’s secret about Nathan Curtis will be exposed. As viewers of the ITV soap know, the police office planted evidence in the abuser’s van that linked him to Lauren Bolton’s disappearance.

Sarah Barlow was planning on doing it in a bid to get Nathan out of her daughter Bethany Platt’s life. But Kit caught her and later planted the evidence himself in Nathan’s van, leading to Nathan’s arrest for murder as Lauren, who has since returned to Weatherfield, was presumed dead.

Corrie fans know that it was infact Joel Deering who was behind Lauren’s disappearance after he brutally attacked her. But in a bid to keep everything he’s done secret, he’s asked Lauren to lie and say it was Nathan who groomed her.

In the meantime, Kit is hiding a secret about Nathan’s true involvement with Lauren. In upcoming scenes, Kit moves into Glenda Shuttleworth’s old room at the Rovers. Next week, Daisy Midgeley is furious that Ryan Connor would rather spend his night off with Kit instead of her.

There’s then a surprise later in the week when DS Lisa Swain hauls Sarah in for questioning. After denying planting Lauren’s DNA in his van, Sarah urges Bethany’s boyfriend Daniel to persuade her to drop her campaign against Nathan.

It is then that Daniel tells ex-fiancee Daisy that he doesn’t trust Kit and that something doesn’t sit right about Nathan’s conviction over Lauren.

Elsewhere, Ruby Dobbs makes a fuss of her new brother while Hope wants nothing to do with Dorin. Soon, Alina Pop starts receiving menacing calls and suspects it’s the people traffickers trying to intimidate her. But when Tyrne suggests that Hope might be behind it she’s furious and denies any involvement.

Later, Fiz is fuming when Tyrone admits he lied to her about a large bill which was in fact to pay Adam for a consultation about Dorin. When Tyrone reveals that he’d like Alina and Dorin to move to Weatherfield, Fiz is horrified.

She then worries that Tyrone spending time with Alina could reignite their passion. Meanwhile, as Alina arrives at No.9 with Dorin she explains to Tyrone that she fears she’s being watched. As Alina readies herself for court, she’s confronted by the thug from the hotel bar who barges into her room, threatening Alina against giving evidence.

Also in Weatherfield, Dee-Dee Bailey Googles the jewellers where Joel made out he bought Maeve’s bracelet. As she looks at other items worth £300 she’s stunned by what she finds.

Dee-Dee then visits Lauren in hospital and when the teen and new mum reveals that she’ll soon be moving to Belfast, Dee-Dee covers her shock. As Dee-Dee points out the coincidence to Joel he gives nothing away but determined to get to the truth, Dee-Dee follows Joel.

But Dee-Dee”s left stunned at Joel’s audacity as she demands the truth. Then, at the end of the week, when summoned by Dee-Dee, Joel’s ex-wife Emily calls at the solicitors and Dee-Dee braces herself for a tough conversation.

Also, Tracy Barlow boasts about her fabulous life in Spain, but when Cassie Plummer points out it can’t be that great or she wouldn’t be back in Weatherfield, Tracy fumes.

Meanwhile, Rowan Cunliffe tells Amy Barlow that it isn’t too late to invest in the new resource centre if she changes her mind. Fed up of being left alone to run the bistro, Amy tells Nick Tilsley she should have listened to Rowan and is quitting. Rowan is delighted and arranges an upload session for Amy.
