Alina left Coronation Street this Friday after she was brutally attacked which meant she had to leave her son Dorin behind

Coronation Street fans say “are you thinking what I am” as they believe they’ve rumbled Alina Pop’s sad fate.

Fans of the ITV soap think they have come up with what is going to end up happening to Alina, and it doesn’t look good. Fans are convinced Alina – who is now on the run for a criminal gang – is not long for this world and viewers will see her death play out on the show before the end of the year.

One fan penned: “Not exactly a spoiler as I’m speculating but I’ll hide this anyway. Anyone think Alina will be killed by those dodgy guys, leaving the toddler with Tyrone to raise as yet another motherless child in the street?”

The post got multiple replies, with many pointing out that this would mean her son Dorin would be left on the cobbles for Tyrone to raise.

Fans have come up with their own theories

One replied: “It’s very predictable but with the current writers it’ll almost certainly go that way.” While another added: “I kind of hope that happens. Her sad, mopey face is so annoying. Always looks like she’s about to cry. The kid is cute, though. Have him move in with Ty and Fix… Hope starts to like him and becomes a really good big sister.”

Another theory a fan had is: “I’m half expecting a kidnapper. That’s all I’ve got. The Alina-Fizz-Ty merry go round wears me down,” while another commented: “I don’t understand why the police don’t put her in a women’s refuge until the case is over? maybe there are none that can accept women and children?? They are usually very secure.”

The theory comes as fans have been questioning the paternity of Alina Pop’s son in recent weeks, despite the fact that Dorin was confirmed to be the result of her affair with Weatherfield stalwart Tyrone Dobbs. A new theory suggests that Alina may have welcomed Dorin with another man during her time away from Corrie.

“How does Tyrone know that Dorin is even his child without a DNA test? Alina could just be saying what Tyrone wants to hear. It has been (3) years since she was last on the street”, one viewer first suggested. A second added: “Alina is going to die, then Tyrone will take Dorin in and then he will find out that he’s not his but Sebs and it will be Jack all over again.”

This prompted a third fan to add: “Bet Dorrin isn’t Ty’s; bet he’s one of the traffickers’.” Tyrone Dobbs, Seb Franklin and Adam Barlow were previously thought to have fathered Dorin due to Alina’s past with them.
