Bobby’s explosive EastEnders exit confirmed in graveyard shocker as new pictures leak huge spoilers

Bobby Beale’s (Clay Milner Russell) past will come back to haunt him in EastEnders, with a heated showdown on the cards with Cindy (Michelle Collins) over the death of Lucy (Hetti Bywater).

Lucy, as viewers know, was tragically killed a decade ago as part of a huge storyline to celebrate the BBC One soap’s 30th anniversary, with the culprit eventually being confirmed as Bobby.

Bobby subsequently went to prison to atone for his crime and, upon his return to Walford in 2019, he went to great lengths to make amends for what he did, earning back the love and support of his family in the process.

But one person who has struggled to forgive Bobby is none other than Cindy, who staged a dramatic return from the dead last year.

Bobby has gone out of his way to make it clear to Cindy that he regrets his actions and, despite the animosity between them, Cindy eventually agreed to let bygones by bygones, as the two reached an understanding last year.

But despite this apparent resolution, Bobby and Cindy will soon find themselves at odds once again, with an intense showdown set to ensue at the grave of Lucy Beale.

Filming pictures obtained by The Sun detail the dramatic scenes, as Bobby pays a visit to his sister’s resting place. Cindy subsequently arrives with husband Ian (Adam Woodyatt) – Bobby’s dad – in tow, and things get nasty, with Bobby taking a tumble into a nearby headstone.

The question is: just what leads to Cindy’s outburst?

Given that she and Bobby have previously come to an understanding, there must be something that prompts her to react in such a fashion.

Fans have started to speculate that Bobby could play a role in the spiking of Anna Knight (Molly Rainford), which plays out on screens next week.

It would certainly be an unexpected development, given the character development gone into redeeming Bobby following his role in Lucy’s death, but will this prove to be the case?

‘hope this isn’t part of Bobby’s exit storyline though that he spikes Anna and has to leave,’ said social media user Liam, while Kat added: ‘So how many people think Bobby had Anna mugged, and now he’s going to spike her drink to make her dependent on him because he’s jealous of Freddie being back?’

Bobby is set to leave the show in upcoming scenes, with actor Clay Milner Russell departing after five years, so it’s likely that these scenes with Cindy will play into that.

Ian, meanwhile, is currently harbouring a big secret, which will be revealed onscreen next week.

Fans reckon that the legend is secretly in contact with Jane (Laurie Brett) and, with Bobby’s exit imminent, it certainly lines up!
