Now Bernie (Jane Hazlegrove) is set to be left heartbroken all over again in Coronation Street by his cruel actions.

Events have been tough for the rest of her family after Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) and Chesney (Sam Aston) were left skint.

They have been struggling to deal with the Cost Of Living crisis after Gemma resorted to stealing shoes her one of the quads.

Meanwhile, Paul (Peter Ash) is deteriorating rapidly from the effects of Motor neurone disease as he is confined to a wheelchair and struggles to speak.

Bernie arranges to meet Kit for a drink in the Rovers as she is keen to tell the twins that they have a brother.

She waits in the pub as she prepares to discuss how she tells Gemma and Paul the news.

However, she is unaware that he is already at the flat breaking the shocking and life-changing news.

The main question is, how will they react?

Bernie will be left feeling depressed at how the news goes down, so she turns to Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) for advice.

Having difficulties with Paul and Gemma, she wants to try and get her family together properly.

Beth Tinker (Lisa George) ends up flirting with the police officer but like others on the street, she will soon face her own shock.

He will soon reveal that he is indeed the biological son of Bernie and therefore he is also the brother of Gemma and Paul.

Gemma will also open up to say that Paul and her plan to buy a wreath for Kit’s real mum.

Dev advises Bernie to send her own floral tribute, but will relations improve between her and her estranged son?
