Freddie Slater has teased a return for Stevie Mitchell as he tries to lift his grandmother Big Mo’s spirits.
The EastEnders lad, portrayed by Bobby Brazier, chatted to Laila Morse’s BBC soap alter ego this Wednesday, August 7, 2024, as he noticed her broody disposition.
And after suggesting her to pick up a new hobby – more particularly birdwatching – Freddie decided to reunite Big Mo with a close pal – Stevie Mitchell.
Fans of the London-based drama will know all about Freddie’s social media skills, which have allowed him to make jaw-dropping discoveries about his father Graham Foster in the past. But could Stevie really return to Walford, a month after his explosive exit?
The newcomer was in a difficult position in July as he was forced to reveal his darkest secrets to estranged son Billy Mitchell (played by Perry Fenwick), including the cause of death of his mother Val. The market stall holder struggled to forgive his father for the years of secrecy and abandonment but Stevie tried to make it all up to Billy during this Thursday’s (July 11) double bill of the London-based drama.
Stevie went a step further before kissing Big Mo goodbye and heading out of the Square as he stole and sold off Phil Mitchell’s (Steve McFadden) car, leaving him in complete distress.
