EastEnders has seemingly hinted at a surprise death twist after the club crush horror on the Square.
Amy Mitchell and Lauren Branning are still in hospital after being caught up in the deadly club crush at Peggy’s, when an angry Chelsea Fox tried to get her own back on rival Penny Branning by putting more tickets on the website for the event.
It led to vast overcrowding at the venue and it ended up in a huge club crush, causing both Amy and Lauren – amongst others – to be injured. However, in a twist, it seems like EastEnders has hinted that someone could still die in sad scenes.
On tonight’s episode, catching up with her dad on the Square, Penny told him: “I’m fine by the way! I mean I could be done for manslaughter if someone dies and my police officer dad isn’t helping – but I’m fine. I didn’t release any more tickets. I don’t care what they found, you have to believe me,” but Jack wasn’t worried about the tickets.
“People are in a critical condition. Amy and Lauren could have died, so yes they are my priority right now,” Jack fumed.
It comes after actress Zaraah Abrahams – who plays Chelsea – opened up about the guilt she feels following the club crush.
