Anna hospitalised after spiking horror

Anna Knight will get her drink spiked in hard-hitting and upsetting scenes next week. Anna will find herself in danger when she gets spiked whilst on a night out at Peggy’s with her friends. During the night out, the group soon become concerned for Anna’s welfare when they suspect she may have been spiked but when they look for her she is nowhere to be seen in a worrying twist.

Later in the week, Anna wakes up in hospital having been spiked. Once back at The Vic, Anna’s sister Gina tries to convince her to report the incident to the police but she is adamant she doesn’t want to. Sensing Gina is overwhelmed with the situation, a concerned Freddie arrives to support Anna.

Meanwhile, Bobby is worried about his relationship with Anna due to the events of the past couple of days and is left horrified to learn that she was spiked. Bobby tries to be supportive but accidentally puts his foot in it, which results in Anna leaving. This prompts Freddie to try and support both Bobby and Anna. Later in the week, Anna bravely tells dad George about the spiking on Freddie’s advice.

EastEnders is working with leading charities Stamp Out Spiking and WithYou, as well as experts in the field, to ensure the storyline is portrayed as accurately and as sensitively as possible.

Following Kathy’s advice, Cindy heads to Beale’s Eels to ask Ian outright if he is having an affair but he reassures her he’s not. Later, Cindy makes another discovery that makes her think otherwise and she forces George to drive her to a mysterious address in a bid to find out Ian’s secret.

Later, Cindy and George confront Ian after driving to the mystery address before Peter and Bobby arrive. After heading home, Cindy attempts to speak to Ian but it’s not long until he reveals another shocking truth.
