General Hospital and Days of Our Lives are two of the longest-running soaps on American Daytime television. Both have weathered many storms and have always managed to live to see another day.

All thanks to their loyal and passionate fanbase. Considering how long both soaps have been on air, they have experienced many actors hopping between them.

Even as we speak, Daytime veteran, Wally Kurth, is dividing his time between DOOL as Justin Kiriakis and GH as Ned Quartermaine. Interestingly, both the characters have a legacy and are insanely loved by the fanbase.

Not too long ago, Ned got a front-burner storyline on GH when he slipped at the MC pool and woke up from his coma believing to be Eddie Maine.

For the unversed, Eddie was Ned’s stage name back in the 90’s on GH. Thus, when Kristina Corinthos, played by Kate Mansi, fell from Nina’s window right into the MC pool, a zealous fan couldn’t help but draw a cheeky parallel! But before we dive into that, allow us to remind you that before slipping into Krissy’s shoes, Kate Mansi played Abigail DiMera on Days of Our Lives.

Thus, now that Krissy has had an accident similar to Ned, and is also unconscious, the fan couldn’t help but wonder if she would wake up thinking she is Abby from DOOL! Interestingly, Days is currently trying to revive Abigail’s character on the soap by bringing in a new actress, AnnaLynne McCord, who currently is playing Abigail’s lookalike.

Hence, the timing truly is perfect for an insane crossover between the two Daytime giants! Honestly, it would be quite crazy and fun to watch Kristina walking around Port Charles insisting that she is Abigail DiMera and needs to return to her family in Salem! And if she does go back to Salem, it’ll be the battle of two lookalikes, fun, no?
