EastEnders aired a huge twist for the Panesar family on Wednesday (September 25) as Nish was saved from dying, before changing his will from his hospital bed in a huge blow to his ex-wife.

Nish (Navin Chowdhry) struggled to breathe after collapsing in pain from his heart condition, but instead of helping, Suki (Balvinder Sopal) sat and watched her ex-husband dying as the end of his evil plots was coming to an end.

But her grand plan was interrupted when her girlfriend Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) and granddaughter Avani (Aaliyah James) returned home.

Avani immediately stepped in to help her grandfather Nish and called an ambulance before questioning why Suki didn’t help him. Eve wanted the truth from Suki, but she rushed to get to the hospital to make sure Avani didn’t tell everyone she was going to let Nish die.

At the hospital, Suki explained that she was in shock after Nish collapsed, but Avani was confident that Suki knew what she was doing.

Nish asked to speak to Suki privately, though Avani and Eve were reluctant to leave them alone, and Suki confirmed that she would have left him to die, had she not been interrupted.

Realising that there was no way back for them, Nish asked to make a phone call, and later, his solicitor visited him.

Ravi, Priya and Nugget arrived at the hospital, and Nish announced to the whole family that he had signed his last will and testament, which had been sealed by his solicitor as the document sat on his legs.

Nish encouraged Suki to read out the amended will, and she was shocked to discover that he had left his estate, properties, and all remaining assets to his two grandchildren Avani and Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury).

But EastEnders viewers were left wondering the same thing, has Nish forgotten he has another grandson?

Nish and Suki’s son Jagvir Panesar (Amar Adatia) welcomed a son with Habiba Ahmed (Rukku Nahar) before he was killed in prison, but the tot appears to be shunned from the will.

One person wrote: “Nish seems to have forgotten about the other grandson he has from the “boy he loved so much” Jagvir.”

A second added: “Poor forgotten Tyrion”, while a third chimed in: “Has he forgotten Jags has a son, therefore, he has 3 grandchildren?”.

“I like how they invented new grandkids for Nish but he still doesn’t care about Jags kid. #EastEnders. The disrespect!”, exclaimed one viewer.

“Nish has three grandchildren. So Nish has decided to leave everything to Nugget and Avani, yet he hasn’t left anything to Tyrion (Jag’s son) #Eastenders”, added another.
